Portland

About Our Community

Our diverse Jewish community counts numerous temples, synagogues and centers of Jewish learning, a vibrant and recently renovated Jewish Community Center, Jewish Federation of Greater Portland, and the Jewish Review community newspaper. The Oregon Jewish Community Foundation, which houses The PJ Library, is dedicated to creating, promoting, and facilitating a culture of giving, and serves as a permanent guardian of funds available to safeguard the quality of Jewish communal life in Oregon and Southwest Washington.

Local PJ Partner

The PJ Library Portland is funded by a local group of visionary mothers and grandmothers and by the OJCF Community Endowment Fund and the OJCF Youth Foundation.
