About Our Community
The United Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh works closely with our beneficiary agencies, area synagogues and other Jewish non-profit organizations to coordinate local Jewish educational opportunities including outreach and community building initiatives. The United Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh successfully raises and allocates resources, coordinates communal efforts and acts as a source of support for the local, national, Israel and overseas communities.
Local PJ Partner
Agency for Jewish Learning:
The central community reserve for Jewish learning throughout Greater Pittsburgh. Provides ongoing formal and informal Jewish learning support for all community agencies, organizations, day schools and synagogues.
Community Day:
Serves as an independent, co-educational Jewish day school for kindergarten through grade 8.
Jewish Community Center of Greater Pittsburgh:
Offers a full range of programs and services that enhance Jewish identity, Jewish education, and all aspects of Jewish community life. Facilities include: Jewish Community Center of the South Hills, Henry Kaufmann Family Recreation Park and Emma Kaufmann Camp.
