About Our Community

The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington is a community-building organization that helps people in need, strengthens Jewish identity and connects Jews to each locally, in Israel, and around the world. Because of the caring and generosity of our donors, we help Jews of all ages and walks of life, and support interests from education and the arts to social services and cultural programs.

Local PJ Partner

Thank you to the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington’s United Jewish Endowment Fund, our planned giving arm of, for making The PJ Library possible. This program is also made possible with the support from The Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia.

The PJ Library is open to children ages 6 months through 6 years living in Northern Virginia.

We have had an overwhelming response to the PJ Library program and have already enrolled the maximum number of children we are able to fund through our current grant.

We encourage you to complete registration so that your children may be placed on a waiting list. In the event that additional funding becomes available for PJ Library, we will enroll children from the waiting list based on the date of registration. We thank you for your understanding. If you have any questions or would like to find out more about other programs available for families with young children in Northern Virginia, please contact Beth Felsen pjlibrary@shalomdc.org
