About Our Community

UJC of MetroWest New Jersey answers Jewish needs and builds and strengthens Jewish community. Our unique relationship with local and overseas partners ensures that we can provide a wide range of support to people at home, in Israel, and around the world based on our Jewish values. UJC provides the MetroWest community with the most effective way to reach, help, and advocate for Jews wherever they live.

The Partnership for Jewish Learning and Life is MetroWest's Jewish Identity development agency. The Partnership's mission is to “bring Jewish learning to life” with an initial focus on Jewish educational experiences for young people, from early childhood through the teenage years. As part of its early childhood emphasis to “teach the child and reach the family,” The Partnership administers The PJ Library in order to bring age-appropriate Jewish books and CDs into thousands of MetroWest homes. Through The PJ Library, we aim to nourish Jewish life right from the start by giving your child Jewish stories and songs that your family can all enjoy together.

Local PJ Partner

The PJ Library is a program of United Jewish Communities of MetroWest, coordinated by The Partnership for Jewish Learning and Life.  The PJ Library is funded by the Paula and Jerry Gottesman Family Supporting Foundation of the Jewish Community Foundation of MetroWest, and Robin and Brad Klatt.
