Merrimack Valley
About Our Community
We are a welcoming and caring community of over 4,000 families with active synagogues, a day school, summer camp and service organizations. The Merrimack Valley Jewish Federation's mission is to foster Jewish identity, social justice, and community through planning, programming, fundraising and allocation of funds. We promote strong connections with Israel and support initiatives that meet needs of Jews and others living locally, nationally, in Israel and overseas. MVJF programs have include “First Light” – our community Chanukah celebration; Miriam's Seder – our multi-generational Women's Passover observance; “Israel In Song” – a valley wide Yom Ha Atzmaut event; and a Family Day with Free Concert at our local day camp. In addition, we offer adult Jewish education and social action programs, events for youth, Lech Lecha – our volunteer leadership development program, and assistance for teen and young adult travel to Israel.
