About Our Community

The mission of the Charleston Jewish Federation is to ensure the continuity of the Jewish people, enhance the quality of Jewish life, and build a strong and secure Jewish community in the greater Charleston area, in Israel and throughout the world.

The PJ Library, Charleston Jewish Federation's newest initiative, aims to enrich the lives of area families with Jewish books and songs, and to help identify the opportunity for involvement in our local Jewish community.

We are fortunate to have received a challenge grant from the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, and with the additional financial support from a group of fantastic local individuals, Charleston Jewish Federation is thrilled to bring The PJ Library program to Charleston.
